HDS-1R™ Retrievable Directional MWD Service
Retrievable Directional MWD & Gamma Ray
The HDS1-R MWD system represents PathFinder’s retrievable MWD system providing accurate inclination/azimuth measurements for directional and horizontal drilling applications. A gamma ray log is also available with the optional gamma sub.
Muleshoe sub assemblies are provided for non-magnetic drill collar sizes between 3.125” and 9.5” O.D. Since the entire assembly is only 1.875” in diameter, the tool can be retrieved through inside diameters as small as 2.125” minimizing lost-in-hole risk in drill strings as small as 2 7/8”!
The standard HDS-1R assembly can withstand 40°/100’ dog-leg severity while our short radius version can withstand 100°/100’ DLS.
The HDS-1R is a proven system which works in all mud types with flow rates up to 1000+ GPM and 20,000 psi maximum working pressure.
