Gyro HDS-1™

Real-time Gyro Directional MWD

The Gyro MWD™ tool operates in circumstances where magnetic interference from casing or adjacent wells are present. The tool can be programmed at the surface to transmit magnetic surveys from our standard directional sensor package. Gyro HDS-1L communicates in real-time through our MWD mud pulse telemetry system. The Gyro HDS-1L saves considerable time and money by eliminating the need to use wireline systems to orient/steer. Once magnetic interference is overcome, the gyro module can be deactivated and drilling continued with the HDS-1L MWD system.
